Gašper Primožič (Bled *1985)took his first musical steps in Radovljica Music School under the mentorship of Prof. Tone Iskra. At Ljubljana Music and Ballet Secondary School he changed his piano accordion for a chromatic button accordion, which he studied with Prof. Erno Sebastian. He graduated magna cum laude from the Carinthian State Conservatory of Music in Klagenfurt with a degree in concert accordion and accordion teaching with Prof. Mag. Roman Pechmann (2010). Currently, he is a post-graduate student at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz with Prof. Janne Rättyä.

His participation in music competitions has won him several awards, including: a third prize at the international competition in Pula (Croatia) in 1999; silver awards at the Slovenian national competition in 2002 and 2008; a first place award at the international competitionin Graz (Austria) in 2006; and a second place (2008) and a first prize(2009) at the international competition in Moravske toplice (Slovenia). He has performed solo or with chamber music in Grenoble (France), Klagenfurt, Graz and Vienna (Austria), Nitra (Slovakia), Trieste and Senigalia, Mantova, Treviso, Belluno, Sagrado (Italy) and Pula (Croatia). Gašper regularly attends seminars by acclaimed accordion players including Wjaceslav Semjonov, Claudio Jaccomucci, Aydar Gainullin, Primož Parovel, Corrado Rojac, Mie Miki, Joseph Maccerollo. He also performed with Kärntner Symphonic orchestra, Symphonic orchestra RTV Slovenija… .

He made recordings for Radio Ars, RTV Slovenia and ORF.
